About The Event
Grab the kids and jump in the car...we're having a cookout! The Safe Zone is partnering with Nate Walls of Second Helping NWA and the Angry Salsa Guy to raise funds, equipment, snacks, hydration, and awareness for Bridge the Gap's flagship children's outreach program. We'll have a lemonade stand, bake sale, food trucks, donation drop-off with registration drive, an open-entry scrimmage flag football game for parents and volunteers (make a donation to enter), and the kids can enjoy our art area where we'll be making handicraft trophies for the scrimmage winners! City Council Candidate, Safe Zone Coach, and Bridge the Gap NWA Co-Founder Aaron Clarke will MC. Every. Red. Cent. of your monetary donations from this event will go directly to programming costs for The Safe Zone. If you would like to make a monetary donation in advance, please do so via CashApp at $hoosierBLM
All activities will be performed in a Covid-cautious atmosphere. Please remember to wear your mask!
